I just came back from an amazing week at the seaside. It did wonders for me--I feel refreshed and renewed. I also brought back some poetry and a blurb of prose I wrote while I was there. I hope you enjoy.

It's supposed to be 104 today. I really, really hate summer weather here.

Hey, do I know you? You go to VDL? Anime club possibly? Know Lauren, Eric, Rae, those people? =D ^.^

Schya, eh. :3
:iconkaikaikat:
I know those people, certainly--Rae is, in fact, my dearest friend. But I am a proud student at CKM, not VDL. I don't live in Folsom.

Hee. Of course. I loved that poem - short, but incredibly haunting and powerful.

'Forever we'll be crucified to a dream' HIM
:iconkaikaikat:
Of course! The piece was haunting and eloquent, and more powerful than a simple tirade or verbose rant. It's the sort of thing that lingers, stuck in your mind. It takes true skill to create something like that. Well done indeed.

Of course! They were gorgeous pieces - and I really love pieces that revolve around books. Very well done.
